In the Weave
One of the three cadet branches of House Cardiret, House Bourne did not gracefully accept defeat at the Battle of Harrow Fields. Occupying the rich and productive lands of northwestern Landis, House Bourne was a constant source of danger and intrigue to the ruling House Eustassi. House Bourne was a House both blessed and cursed, they had a natural affinity for magic and produced an uncanny number of Adepts through their history. They also produced an equal number of madmen and tyrants and were far more feared than loved. In sharp contrast to this reputation for madness and brutality is the devotion and piety that many members of House Bourne showed. They did much to further the causes of the Passions and some of the greatest Questors in Landisian history were members of this House, including the famous Sir Oliver.
